The G102-230 battery is designed for the I-series electric inboard motors. It is a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4). With 23552 Wh and 96V it is suitable for all motors within the I-series of ePropulsion. The battery is 70% lighter in weight than traditional lead acid batteries. Furthermore, the battery has 3x higher energy density.
The housing and connections of the G102-230 battery are waterproof according to IP 67. The battery is also fireproof thanks to a special honeycomb structure and a safety distance between the cells. Thanks to various protection mechanisms in the BMS, the battery has a very long life. The housing of extruded, anodized aluminum is very stable and ensures good heat conduction and perfect protection. Multiple batteries can be mounted on top of each other.
In addition to the G102-230, there is also the classic G102-100 battery with different dimensions.
ePropulsion has a series of electric inboard engines. These engines start with 10kW and go up to 40 kW. The G102-100 is specially made for these engines.
