Python Drive: No More Alignment
The combination of the thrust bearing with counterflange, clamping ring and homokinetic drive shaft ensures that you no longer have to align the Python Drive. The Python Drive allows an angle of up to 8 degrees between motor and propeller shaft. Aligning the drive system is often an expensive affair. Thanks to the Python Drive you will therefore save in the long run!
Vibration-free due to special suspension
The Python Drive is also known for being vibration-free. This is due to the thrust bearing suspended in rubbers. This absorbs the vibrations of the drive system without affecting the engine movements. In the long term, this prevents wear and damage to the rotating parts of the ship's engine.
Install the Python Drive yourself or let us do it
An experienced do-it-yourselfer can install the Python Drive himself. If you have less experience with tinkering with your vessel, we can take care of the installation of the Python Drive for you. This can be done within 1 day. Our people understand their trade and use high-quality tools for installation.
Installation materials supplied as standard
When purchasing a Python Drive, all installation materials are included as standard. Think of the adapter flange for the most common gearbox types, thrust bearing, CV-kinetic drive shaft and of course all bolts, nuts, lock washers and rubbers to absorb the thrust.

(A:B) x 9680 x C = propeller shaft torque in Nm
A = Maximum motor power in kW
B = Maximum engine speed
C = Reduction gearbox
The maximum thrust (kN) of the propeller must remain below the maximum value.
